A big thank you to all runners whom have made the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2011 successful. Blessed with good weather, a record turnout of 9000 runners registered this year and a total of $50,000 was raised for the Yellow Ribbon Fund to help ex-offenders and their families.

A carnival greeted runners at the end point with inspiring song performances by our inmates, a prison art exhibition and also a photo exhibition on an inmate’s rehabilitation journey  back to society.

Themed “Beyond The Run”, the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run is all about giving ex-offenders a second chance to start afresh. With your participation, you have lent your voice and support collectively to a message of hope for all ex-offenders “to pick themselves up and to get back on track.
