It is a replica of the prison officer's key!! This special key is presented as a finisher's memento to all the runners who braved the morning rain and participated in the 2nd Yellow Ribbon Prison Run this morning!

All ex-offenders after their release from their physical prison (where the prison officers holds the key), they step into a second prison of stigmatization and mistrust. However, the key to unlock that second prison lies with community and all of you whom have supported us once way or another! Like the tagline of the Yellow Ribbon Project; which is to "Help Unlock The Second Prison", we hope that by presenting this key to you, it will serve as a reminder and encouragement in helping us to unlock their second prison.

This is truly beyond the run.
